The Storm

I know there's a storm looming in the distance. It's severity, unknown.....but I know there's always a rainbow and the sun will come again.

  3. I was just thinking, must be strange to have this chemo thing looming over you. I never had that; the docs said chemo would be last resort, so it never crossed my mind that it was a treatment option. But over the 4 years since they told me that, things had changed, chemo has been used in cases like mine, and the day my dr suggested it, I started treatment, so no time to dwell or worry! Anyway, don't let it get you down. They have great anti nausea meds, anti emetic meds, steroids, Benadryl, Pepcid, all kinds of pre- meds to make chemo as easy as possible. I hope yours is as easy as mine has been for the last 6 months. Fret not, my long lost friend:) sending you good thoughts!!

  4. Thanks jennyv! It is important for me to hear the words and experiences of veteran survivors/friends. I find it comforting. The "knowledge is power" thing really works and I hope others will learn from me someday! All the best to you, too!
